Our materials are meticulously sourced with a focus on responsibility, aiming to minimise our carbon footprint and establish efficient and effective green facilities.
We can manufacture products from 100% recycled materials and 100% bioplastic to meet our customer demand to achieve reduced carbon targets and we will increase the total amount of materials sourced from post-consumer recycled materials up to 60% by 2030.

How can a plastic manufacturer help improve our oceans?
Husau does not make the type of plastic found in the sea. In the sea is single-use plastic, for example, plastic bottles, bags, straws, q-tips and polystyrene.
Our products have more than one use. We make quality reusable plastic products for the home. Our products are built with quality in mind and with care, they will last the test of time.

As part of the injection moulding process, we produce products that don’t pass QC.
How do we create recyclable material?
When changing molds to make different products the machine is turned back on and the plastic is run through the machine. This produces one product that is only partly moulded because the mix running into the machine hasn’t completely filled the system.
When changing to a new colour. To do this a few products are run through the machine until the colour is accurate. After running a few products, the waste colour is pushed out of the system.
What happens to products that don’t pass QC?
If the product is properly moulded and still holds it’s main function but the colour isn’t accurate, we often use these around the warehouse for storage.
Otherwise all partly moulded products and defect products go into our grinder. This product is ground, made into new pellets and mixed with black plastic pellets to be re-moulded into products such as our first 100% recycled content product line for an OEM customer.
